Birta and Othman are the owners of our favorite cafe and designated workspace. They are the catalyst that put Mad’ouk in action and for that we are forever grateful. They themselves began exporting lighting fixtures from Morocco to Iceland, Birta’s home country. From this, they have created an online collection of eclectic goods, called Nus Nus, and opened a uniquely designed cafe, Mandala, in Othman’s hometown of Essaouira.

We have nothing but gratitude for this power couple who supported our imagination and helped us make the leap toward Mad’ouk.
